One User Can't Qualify Leads Today

Hello,

I have one user who hasn't been able to qualify leads at all today.  I've had to qualify them then assign the opportunity to him even though he's showing as the owner.

He has the same security privileges as the rest of his team which includes read/write/append access to accounts, leads, opportunities, and products. I've checked the mapping, too. No one else reports problems today.

What else should I check?

Thanks!

Before he was change to System Administrator he was able to qualify leads by changing the status back to "new/open" from "contacted."  He also removed the estimated close date. As System Administrator I was able to qualify a lead with those values so I'm not sure what that was about.

I added "contacted" to the status reasons for Opportunity and I've removed System Administrator so we'll see how it goes today.

    Permissions were good there, too.

BTW, check Contacts permissions as well as it will create a contact with the qualification of the lead...

    Hi JonesEA_2018,

This is probably a case for Microsoft based on what you state above but try the following:

    1.  Give the user System Administrator role and see if this works.  If it does you know it is a security issue, if not then there is something else going on with that user.

    2.  Login to the user's machine as your user and perform the functions in the same browser as your identity and make sure it works (verify not an issue with their environment)

    Hope this helps!
