Hi,
I created a rollup field that sums the value of a calculated field. Will that work? I did not encounter any error and both have the same data type but the rollup field is not computing.

Yes, You can create roll up field that sum the value of calculated fields. Please check below screenshot :
FYI, calculated and Roll up fields work asynchronously, so the result will not be displayed immediately.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
Hi Jane,
Refer to Rollup field considerations section:
A rollup can't reference a calculated field that uses another calculated field, even if all the fields of the other calculated field are on the current entity.

Is the calculated field use another calculated field?

Abby
Hi Jane,
See below link:
technet.microsoft.com/.../dn832162.aspx
A rollup can't reference a calculated field that uses another calculated field, even if all the fields of the other calculated field are on the current entity. Based on that if your calculated field does not reference another calculated field, this should work.
Also, consider that Rollup fields execute asynchronously, so you might not see the results immediately.
Hope this helps.
