Resource scheduling issue

Hello everyone,

We created a project with a defined start date and were able to add resource to the project.

However, when we go to Specify resource hours, the start and end date are incorrect ( start and end date are in 1900) and the resource can't be booked.

I have to mention that this is not happening with every project, only certain ones and we can't figure out why is it happening.

Hi Teodora,

Does Dynamics not allow you to change that start and end dates?

What exactly is the issue here?

Hi Ludwig,

The issue is not that I can't change the start/end date on the project or the scheduling form.

The issue is that even when I do that, on specify resource hours form start date is empty and end date is set to 02/01/1900 00:59.

I see.

Do you know if some of your colleagues made some modifications to the standard resource scheduling functionality?

Is that a MS demo / dev company with Contoso data or a customer engine?

Hi Ludwig,

This is a customer engine.

We have made some modification to the standard functionality, yes.

However, this is not happening in all Legal entities and projects, that is why we don't believe it's due to the modifications we have made in the system.
