Opportunity Close Dialog - Competitor unable to be selected

Hi,

I have a client who is trying to select a Competitor that they lost the Opportunity to on the Opportunity Close dialog, but the lookup is greyed out. Any ideas on how to change this so that they can select the Competitor they lost to?

Hello,

Normally competitor is greyed out if you are trying to close opportunity as Won, it will enabled when Close as lost option is selected. Are you suing standard buttons to close opportunity or any customization is done there ??

Chris,

Also try to check the security role, Opportunity (Append & Update) and also Read & Append To for Competitor Entity.
