Hi,

I have a problem with AX 2009 login.When I login with admin user, it will open. but I try to open with any other user it will not open. 

AOS server is running perfectly and there is noerror message in event viewr 

Error got from AX : 

Connection with the Application Object Server could not be established.

    Try exporting the AX configuration with the user that it is working for from Start menu > Control panel > Administrative tools > Microsoft Dynamics AX client configuration tool to an *.AXC file. Associate the AXC file with the Ax32.exe client, then run it with a different user.

    If it works, that means you do not have a default configuration in the registry or it points to another AX AOS instance which is down for other users accounts, or you should just create a shortcut for the AX client executable and use a configuration file with it.

    Also it is possible that in the Online users form in AX the server is set to Draining mode by rejecting new client connections.

    it is not working with different user, got same error.But also work with admin user(two different users)

    So I add that user (x)  to Admin group ,at that time x will not work

    Please provide more details on the actual issue, and how are you using your sytem in regards of the information I provided, i.e. your shortcuts and AX configuration for various AX domain users.

    I installed new AOS server(AX 2009)  in my PC  (windows 10) for testing purpose and SQL database is hosted in another server (both are the copy of production Server).

    Then I start the AOS server with network service account..Server started perfectly.

    Also I login with my admin account, it is perfectly login to AOS

    I have other users with limited privilege that cannot login to AX..

    These all users are perfectly login with our production server

    Is this AX AOS instance connecting to an existing SQL Server database, or a newly installed one? If it is a new one, did you finish going through the Installation initialization checklist? Non-administrator users will be locked out until you have completed those steps.

    It is a new SQL database but live db is restored to the new one.

    And I did not do initialization checklist becoz live application files is copied to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\50\Application\Appl\   folder

    with another name

    Is you computer part of a domain? Do you provide the domain credentials when you are trying to execute the client with a different account?

    Shift+Right click on the shortcut > Run as a different user account > User name: your.domain\your.other.user.account and then the password for that. AX needs to be part of an Active Directory forest, and must be able to communicate with your AD forest. Maybe it is a firewall or antivirus issue then if your configuration is correct?
