Hi All,

Post upgrade and i had made a few minor changes to the live environment, and wanted to bring the test environment into line. So i exported the current live setup as a solution, and when i go to import into the test environment i get an error.

I checked out the log file, and i'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction to resolve the issue:

The evaluation of the current component(name=SystemForm, id=bbc892b7-896b-480c-ace7-fdf69340d215) in the current operation (Create) failed during managed property evaluation of condition: Managed Property Name: isparentcustomizable; Component Name: SystemForm;

Hi,

You cannot import the managed form SystemForm, id=bbc892b7-896b-480c-ace7-fdf69340d215

Import the managed solution/source of your form then import your solution.

Hi, I will ask a few (probably silly) questions, as I am self taught via trial and error mainly, and often I don't know the proper terminology. So essentially what you're saying is one of the managed solutions I have in live environment would need to be exported to test environment before I can apply my solution? If so, is there any tips or advice you can give as to determining which of the managed solutions is the issue?

Are you able to identify which entity form , you are getting error ? You can try to redirect any form by going default solutions and get the url , replace the form id with the GUID mentioned in the error . browse the url in prod env you will get the forms details .

Now before export the solution go to the prod env and find the entity and make iscustomizable true.

Once you done try to import again.

Hi Goutam & Rawish,

I went to try what you have suggested, but I haven't had luck not sure what other details I can provide to help, but perhaps the below assists?

If I find the entity in the customizations section and try to change the forms' managed properties, it's already set to true.

The entity appears to be "Solution History Data Source" and the form appears to be the card. I'm guessing this because I went to try what Rawish suggested, but couldn't exactly follow all the lingo in the article.

From the customizations XML file: but I have not idea which one two switch so I didn't touch.

Hi,

Check if you have this entity (Solution History Data Source) in your solution. If yes then remove it from your solution and try again.

Please forgive my ignorance, but export the default solution from the customisations page, it exports and I now have a zip file for the unmanaged solution. Can you please suggest a method (or provide a link) showing how I remove a single entity from this solution?

Why have yopu exported default solution? Are you trying to export import default? If yes then it is not supported. You should create your new solution and add only the componenets you need.
