Hi,

Can anyone explain the use of "Virtual Entity Data Sources" and steps to do it. Is it only possible through configuration or we can also do it through custom code also?

Hi,

Virtual entity is used for just showing records in Dynamics CRM, where data may be on any other database. We can create web api and through it we can get data from external database to Dynamics crm virtual entity.

Remember : Data in virtual entity is in readable only.
