We are in the process of moving the Finance module from our Housing system to NAV. I wanted to know if we should also move the Property Asset management module as I understand NAV has an assets management addon. The reason being the work orders will be raised from the housing system but when the invoice comes in it will be entered in NAV and someone will have to close the work order from the housing system. My finance team is okay with this as they believe the finance system should not be doing this.
Correct me if I'm wrong as my approach was that we also move the assets module to NAV so we can raise the work orders from NAV so when the invoice comes and payment is done we can close the work order from NAV itself. I guess in the idea world the work order should be closed when the job is completed and not having to wait for the invoice.
Could you please advise if it makes sense to move the asset module to NAV and if NAV is good enough to handle asset management.
