How to post Assembly order when advanced warehouse functions are involved

Hi there!

I followed below steps,

1. Creation of BOM

2. Creation of sales order

3. updated Qty. to assemble to order to 1 in sales order (as my Quantity is 1)

Now, if I go to assembly order to post it, I don't see post button enabled.

    If a warehouse shipment is involved then posting takes place with that. Even when advanced warehouse is out of the picture posting for an AO linked to a SO happens via the SO posting

    Thank you for replying.

    I was under the same impression. Initially I followed below steps,

    1. creation of sales order

    2. updated Qty. to assemble to order to 1 in sales order (as my Quantity is 1)

    3. created warehouse shipment

    4. Registered Pick

    Now, the problem is I am not able to post warehouse shipment.

    Could you please help me understand what should be the reason behind it?

    Thanks. I was using wrong bin. I got the flow correctly.
