D365 F&O excel add-in has stopped working

The dynamics Excel add-in we use to update journals and other documents has stopped working, has anyone else had the same thing happen?

    Can you tell us if you get an error during publishing or if e.g., someone closed the sidecar with the Dynamics 365 connector pane?

    What was the error you had when you tried to use Excel Add-ins?

    This could normally occur for generic reasons such as caching. 
    When you says, stopped working, does it gives you any error or no message at all? Has there been any permission changes for you from your IT?
    Could you try closing all excel files (if you have multiple open), restart the PC, un-install the add-in and retry with the installation again.
