API v2.0 VS Web Service

Hi, I'm curious whats the difference between those 2. I've notice that they are almost the same but there is one API (Customer Ledger Entry) that exists in the `Web Services` but not in the `API V2.0`. Also I just want to know if `Web Service` is designed to handle large amount for read-only queries. Thanks in advance!
I have the same question (0)

Got it Mr. ZHU. Just a quick follow up question, is it recommended to use Direct Tenant over Common Endpoint for production?

Please clarify what is  `c8558e71-6ad8-4fcd-9f29-3ca165b41bbe` from your URL? is it TenantId?

Hi, In BC21, Microsoft added standard APIs
Business Central 2022 wave 2 (BC21): Use new dedicated APIs for financial reporting (Advanced APIs -> reportsFinance/beta)

    customerLedgerEntry resource type (Beta)

But because it is a Beta version, the endpoint is a little different from v2.0.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Thank you for sharing that info, YUN ZHU. My issue with the API is that it does not have a way to get the Customer Ledger Entry, would you suggest anyway I can get it via the API?

The main difference is in performance. API is much better than Web Service (Odata). Here are some data from Microsoft.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
