I have created an MVC app to download pdf for custom entity, this app working fine on my local machine, but when i host this app on CRM server i am getting this

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Crm, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Try downloading the version of SDK (or nuget) that matches your CRM version and update project references after that. It's asking for 8.0, but you may have 8.1+ on the server (if it's on-prem)

i have added CRM reference 'crm.skd.proxy' not 'Microsoft.Crm"

Can't you remove it? It's not part of the SDK, so I'm not sure why you need it.

Hi,

is that a reference you have added to the project? If so, why do you need it there?
