Chart issue (limited to 5 series)

Hello,

My charity hired a professional to set up a score tracker for us which took starting scores and end scores. We then had charts which showed these numbers and the changes.

I've been asked to create a middle point score now too and I was hoping I could do this using what I could see from what he'd created. I managed this with the forms and views but I've hit a snag with the charts.

On his charts he has managed to list the 8 scores for start on one chart all under legend entries so S1-S8 and the same for the End scores on another chart.  These are all greyed out so I can't edit them.

When I try and create the same column chart I can only add 5 of my M scores M1-M5 to the legend entries (series) and it won't allow me to add any more.

Apologies, I can't seem to add images at the moment to show this but will do on Monday.

Any help appreciated.
Chris

    Hi Chris,
Yes, 5 series is limited if we use chart editor.
However, with xml editing, we can add up to 9 series ( and in some special cases 10).
Please refer to the following blog:

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it is helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,

    Thank you Leah Ju.

That answered my question and I was able to create a chart with the 8 midpoints I was after and then the change ones two after a bit of head scratching.
