How can I restrict lower tier users from accessing a particular Page such as 'Chart of Accounts'

Hi all,

I am familiar with the concept of Security filters on permission sets however these are not available with the Object type 'Page'

What I am trying to do is restrict lower tier users from accessing sensitive company data and only display pages that are relevant to them.

I have tried to apply this on a permission set but when you select Object type Page, the only options available are Execute or Indirect.

What I am looking to find out is if I am along the right lines, using permissions, to only allow pages that are relevant to a user?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi Nuno P,

Question on this. Does the exclusion apply where the Basic Permission grants permission 0 to view all pages

Thank you for confirming this, our current version does not allow the Exclude fiunction.

This has been escalated internally and once the latest release has applied i should be able to perform the nessecary exclusions.

By any chance, do you know which release this feature became available?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Assuming you're using the latest versions of business central, You can exclude the access to that page by creating a permission set for the necessary exclusions
