Hello,

I am trying to download a finance report using the send to function and choosing Microsoft Excel Document (data and layout). But when I open the file, there is a spaces in each row. I have tried creating a custom layout but it doesn't have the possibility to choose excel (only word or rdlc). Has anyone encountered the same issue?

Because the standard doesn't have an Excel layout....You need to make the layout from scratch.

Then your problem is that when creating an Excel layout, you need to select Microsoft Excel Document (data only), not data and layout.

Hi

I've heard this before, and I could tell you that if you want to exactly control the locations and spaces and everything else when you generate an Excel, you must create it yourself through code.
