GP2018 - GL Distribution Grids

I understand there was a recent change to the GL distribution grid with respects to the functionality that would expand and collapse those rows.  Under GP2018 the rows now expand or collapsed by default based on whether the user previously had them open or closed.  Is there a way to permanently set a default so they default to the same setting when opening the grid?  Please advise.  Look forward to a response.
