Change view of email activity in CRM for tracked emails via D365 app for outlook

Hi,

Is there a way to display the first line of the email body at first glance on a record in CRM?

It used to appear this way, but there was a recent issue with the email headers showing and then was fixed by Microsoft. After that fix, only the contact name and subject line shows up for tracked emails.

For example, I want it to show the first line of the email body i.e. dear xxxx, thanks for contacting etc without having to click on the arrow buttons or expand the email activity.

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi forid,

The body of the email is the Description field, so we only need to add the Description field to the view to see the body.

If it is a public view, open the view in the Default solution customization, click Add Columns, select Description, save the view and publish.

If it is a personal view, open the view in the Advanced Find, click Edit Columns, select Description, save the view.
