Hi,
In D365FO, to enable/disable configuration keys (License configurations), is it the same as AX 2012?
There is a config key called "Development" and another called "X++ Development", should we enable these as well?
Thanks,
To manage configuration keys follow link
docs.microsoft.com/.../maintenance-mode
You have to be in maintenance mode.
Hi Yuji,
According to the Doc, You cannot enable or disable this key in the License configuration form.
Please refer these DOC:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/x-development-configuration-key-sysdevelopmentxpp
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/development-configuration-key-sysdevelopmentmorphx
In the system, they appear as enable.
Is it still a general recommendation to disable unused configuration keys in D365FO? Even though we do not use Bank module, however I found out that if we disable bank module configuration keys, I got quite a few DB sync errors on GL tables.
It is still recommended to disable config keys that are not being used. If you are getting error, then you have two options:
1. Don't turn that specific config key off.
2. Open MS support ticket
Although its recommended to disable config key for the functionality which is not used , some functionalities have dependencies on each other.Bank module is used maintain the legal entity’s bank accounts and the financial instruments that are associated with those bank accounts , so you can not disable it.
