Security Test Workspace not available

Hi,

I'm start using Security Development Tools on my Ax 2012. In Security Entry Point Permission, there is button called Open Security Test Workspace, but when I clicked there is an error message says "The security test workspace is not available when you have users of type AD group in your environment "

What's that all about? Isn't all AX users should be AD group ?

    Hi Jurgen, (and Anton)

    You can setup users in AX with a type 'Active directory user' or 'Active directory group'.

    If you have a user of type AD group, the Security development tool does not work.

    You can or delete this user or create a separate environment without AD users. Then you can use the test workspace.

    Hi Guys

    Just to be more precise, in order to use the "Security Test Workspace" is mandatory have an environment without "AD Group".

    An workaround without any warranty is customize the SysSecEntryPointManager Form, OpenRoleWorkSpace method and comment the lines :

       /*if(SysSecEntryPointManager::EnvironmentHasADGroups())

       {

           throw error(strFmt("@SDT92"));

       }*/
