Realization of consumed hours and consumed cost amount on Secondary 1 operations

Hi,

We have introduced Secondary 1 Priorities (together with Primary Priority) on same Operation number for our production routes. This in order to split our Operations by different Man- and Machine-related cost categories (with differentiated hourly cost rates). Number of estimated hours for the Primary and Secondary 1 Operations are always the same.

However, in price calculation when comparing the estimated consumption of hours and cost amounts for those hours on line level and total level we don't get any realized consumption and cost amount for hours reported on Secondary 1 Operations.

We are running AX 2012 R2 CU6, Kernel version 6.0.1000.2473.

Which further actions must I take to prepare AX to realize consumption of hours and cost amounts for the Secondary 1 Operations ?

Try me deling with the Secondary 1 route group... Can you post a screenshot from the one you are using?

Hej Fredrik,

I am applying route group STD with same setup for both Primary and Secondary 1 route operations. Print screen of applied setup is attached.

Do I need to have an additional route group with different setup for the Secondary 1 route operations ?

Try adding another group and tick for automatic consumption.

We have tried this, but any automatic consumption doesn't take place. We are forced to manually consume both Primary and Secondary 1 Operations in order to achieve estimated and realized consumption of hours. We have even tried tick-marking automatic consumption for the "old" route group, which is linked to the Primary Operations, but we are still forced to consume/report manually.

What is the root cause for this behaviour ?
