Dear all,

I am trying to set up an automatic email sending after validating an Order by my customer.
I am facing different issue in this setup .

First of all is that the TO field of the email template need to contain the Customer account primary contact name attached to the order.
In addition, in my email body I need to list the Product he has order in multiple lines.

How can I do those 2 steps ?

regards

serge
First of all is that the TO field of the email template need to contain the Customer account primary contact name attached to the order.
Since your workflow will run on Order, setting the TO as the Primary contact of the Account on the order is not feasible by default on Workflow. EIther you can copy the Primary contact of the account to the order when the account is selected using plugin or JS code.

    OR

You again have a Custom workflow, which will fetch the Primary contact and set that as an output parameter which you can use in email sending step.
In addition, in my email body I need to list the Product he has order in multiple lines.
Since your workflow will run on Order, and you need a (distinct) list of products which are used on the order lines, this is not possible in Out of Box CRM workflow.

You need to write a custom workflow which will return the list of products in a text, which you can use in the email body in next step in workflow.

Let me know if you need more details on this, and I will guide you.

If the above answers your query, please mark it as an answer.

    Hi,

Yes, the TO field must be of the Contact's who ever places the order. I don't know why @Somesh Siripuram said a No for that. I guess he is talking about FROM field. But, your second problem, that is listing of the product lines, Unfortunately that is not possible with OOB workflows and I don't that is easy with a custom workflow as well.

One quick thing, I can suggest is to go for a plugin, build your HTML mail content and create a new Email message and send it. That should be doable and you should get lot of references in internet for each of the steps involved in this process.
