Tracking an item against a shipment number

Dear All

I need to track available items Quantity through shipment number. E.g if available Qty of a specific item is 20 in Dynamics GP, I want to check how much qty belong to what shipment number.

E.g Item ABC123 have 20 qty available in stock

Now how would I know  that

Item           QTY          Shipment Number

ABC123        5             RCT0000101

                     4             RCT0000102

                    11            RCT0000103

    Hi Anwar,

    Where do you want to track this information & how ? in GP ? outside of GP ? what are the tools available to you ?

    Inventory transaction history should provide you with this information, but that would be interactively in GP..  Or you could run a historical stock-status report..

    Inventory >> Reports >> Activity >> Report : Historical Stock Status Report

    This would allow you to get all the transactions for 1 item or a range of items, filtered by date and various other options.
