Error when qualifying lead

Hello,

Since a few days it seems that qualifying some leads results in an SQL error. Some leads don't have a problem and can be qualified, others still give very generic SQL error :

{"ActivityId":"7174342d-f360-443e-9196-8990fabff7f1","errorCode":2147762512,"message":" Sql error: Generic SQL error. CRM ErrorCode: -2147204784 Sql ErrorCode: -2146232060 Sql Number: 547","stacktrace":null,"Timestamp":1609325972543}

Any ideas ?

Thanks !

Peter

    Hi Peter,

Good to know that your problem is solved. Regarding your last question, since error message does not has too much details, is hard to say what is the cause. My recommendation is try to rebuild the rules and check all conditions.

    Thanks,

    Hi Ricardo,

    Thanks for your response !

We finally found out that there was a rule on contacts that initiates 2 fields. Once we disabled the rule, qualification worked again. This now leads us to the quesiton : why does the rules crashes when qualification creates a contact ?

    Kind regards,

    Peter

    RE: Error when qualifying lead

    Hi Peter,

The error does not say too much and since qualifying process is a little complex, I suggest to you find compare the record that can be qualified and one that cannot. Check the following points:

    * A contact or account is being created during the qualification?

    * There are values mapped between Lead and Opportunity entities that could invoke a business rule from Opportunity side?

    * There are plugins enabled for Lead or Opportunity entities?

Since this is a SQL generic error, there are a lot of possibly causes. Also, if you are using a OnPremise environment, collect a verbose trace. If you don't identify something relevant, I suggest to open a support case.

    Thanks,
