What are the Sales order status and states in Dynamics AX 2012?

Hi,

Am new to AX. Can anyone please help me in guiding Sales Order statuses and its corresponding state in AX 2012. I want the list of sales order status and its state in Ax, in order to map it with Magento sales order. I searched for long but i didn't get any result yet. 

Thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Rudra,

    I reviewed these blocks, but i don't find any information regarding sales order status and its state.

    As far as i saw, there were four order status Open order, Delivered, Invoiced and Canceled in ax 2012. Is that correct? Or is there any additional statuses in ax. I also need to know when all these statuses are set in ax 2012.

    Hi,

    Refer this - msdn.microsoft.com/.../salesstatus.aspx about status..

    Open Order - Created and Confirmed Sales order's status

    Delivered - Shipped or Dispatched Sales Orders (after dispatch)

    Invoiced - Invoiced Sales Orders(after invoicing)

    Canceled - Canceled Sales Order (after cancellation)

    The answer by Raja describes the sales status but from a UI perspective you might want to know about the document status as well . It does confuse people sometimes. Check this blog post http://bit.ly/S6lBr9

    Remember that the status of the sales order referenced here is for the order as a whole. If I have an order with 10 sales lines and 9 are shipped and invoiced and one is open the status of the order is open.

    Yup Steve is correct the sales order header status will stay open until all the lines are closed.
