Allow Arrears checkmark option missing

Hello, in GP 2013 in the "employee deduction maintenance" window we used to have some check marks for "Allow Arrears" but after upgrading to GP 2013 R2 it seems to be missing. is there a setting i need to check to bring it back again? i need to allow arrears for an employee and i don't know how to without the check mark. any help?

In the Canadian Payroll there are two places to set the switch.

First (shown above) is from the Payroll Control>>Contol window.

Second (shown above) is from the Employee Card >> Control window.

Both have to be clicked to yes for that to operate as expected.

If this is US Payroll, you need to make sure the HR Payroll suite was installed and not just the HR module. The payroll suite dictionary is the one that adds the checkbox to the deduction maintenance window.

i went to Administration tab then alternate modified forms and report, and from there the employee deduction maintenance window and chose the other radio button and it fixed it.Thank you everyone!
