Opportunity Line Items

Deleting Line Items in an Opportunity - I can do this as an administrator with no problem. I would like the users of the system to be able to do this as well…or at least the creator of the opportunity.

Also, write-in product in this same area. As an administrator it gives me the line to enter a new write-in product but as any other user I get redirected to a New Opportunity product view with the “Write-In product” locked.

Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks.

    Hi Christopher,

Check the other user permission for the Security Role -> Sales --> Misc. Privileges --> Override Opportunity pricing, give them that permission.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

Thanks for your quick response.  This was the first thing I tried.  Org level permissions are set on that privilege.  Any other ideas?

Which one is not working? The delete or the write-in

    For the delete product.

There is no specific privilege, as long as the user can read/write the opportunity.

    For the Write in Product.

You need to check the OverrideEntityPricing.

Check the form, is that the write in product is only read-only?

You use the out of the box inline opp product?
