Email sending from personal email address

I have multiple email accounts in outlook. 2 of them are exchange accounts, one of these two is my windows live id account while the other is a client facing account. Using CRM 2011 online with Rollup 12 and office 2010 32 bit.

The CRM configuration is for one of my clients and I appear as an employee to the public for this outlook account.

Whenever I send emails via CRM, it is sent by my personal account, not the client facing account. This makes me not look like an employee. My Outlook default account is the Client Facing Account, my preferences in CRM are the client's exchange email address for me, and it still send everything through my personal email account.

Is there a setting that I am missing? Do I have to change my windows Live id to use the client facing account? How to I force CRM to send these emails from a specific emaill account?

    Is your personal email account your primary account in Outlook?

    CRM only tracks and sends emails via the primary outlook email account.

    Please confirm that your business address is the primary address in Outlook.

    It looks like there is a difference between Default Account and Primary Account. Is this correct?

    It seems as if the first account added to the profile is the Primary account. For me, this was my personal account. There is an article that discusses how to remove the primary account: www.slipstick.com/.../primary-account-removed-outlook-2010 t. This seems excessive. Is there another way to change this?

    In your System user record of CRM, check what is the Preferred Email Address.

    The only email address in CRM is the Client Facing account. I removed the personal settings. Nothing in the client's crm but the biz email.

    From my understanding, when you look at your separate profiles, you have it set to automatically open this specific profile each time correct? (this is how it should be) Then, when you view the data files, the default here is what CRM uses as the default email.
