If you would like to have a functionality that will send reminders to those vendors that yet had not delivered items in promised date, you should customize it I suppose. You can make a report that would run through the open purchase orders and verify the Expected Receipt Date with current date and send the reminder. However you need to be sure that this is really the Vendor that not delivered the items but not you warehouse personnel who had not registered the delivery.

Actually why do you need to setup the Delivery Reminders for Vendors? Ideally, this should not be applicable for Vendors.

You have option available to pass the manual Reminder Entries (Document Type = Vendor) for Vendor at General Journal.

This mean, Vendor has actually sent you the reminders and you need to pass the manual journal to have the effect of the same in your books of accounts. Further, you need to pay the amount against this Reminder Entries to your vendor.

    Hope this helps.

Even though MSDN says "Reminder Terms Code" is available in the Vendor card, it is not available in NAV 2016 (45243) vendor table.

Best you Download a fresh nav 8 Fr Version. Also a w1 Version for camparison. Install both and Check if the reminder functionality is included.

    I'm using FRDynamics NAV8.0 version .

Do you have any idea of the NAV Version where this functionality is included?

    Thanks a lot

This mean, this functionality is not available for Vendor in the NaV version that you are using.

Ideally you should see the "Delivery Reminder Terms" field at Receiving FastTab @ Vendor Card.

Check Vendor Table and see if this field is available in the table.

I do have access to the reminder terms in nav client which are related to the customer, now my problem is setting reminders for vendors.

    best regards

if the page (object) is available, but not reachable as icon or menu entry in the windows client (rtc), then it could be a failed installation or buggy database.
