Hello Community Experts,

There is a requirement where i need to add a button on command bar of my open leads which opens a form to send email sends email upon selection of multiple leads or single lead which are selected

Could anybody please guide me on how do i do add a button and configure it to send the email directly?

Hi Sumaira,

Is there no Quick Campaign button on the Leads view when selecting records?

There should be, so I would recommend you use Ribbon Workbench to check if it is be hidden.

Find the button whose Id is Mscrm.HomepageGrid.lead.QuickCampaign and check if it is hidden or disabled.

In addition, you can also create on-demand workflow or flow to send emails.

Hi Sumaira,

Send Direct Email option is a button in the web client (Classic UI), it cannot be used in UCI.

In addition, if you need to make the sender of the email the Lead Owner, then you need to add a Get Record (Common Data Service) action in Flow.

Hi Sumaira,

I have tried it, but if you click Send Direct Email button in the UCI, an error message will appear. You cannot use it successfully.

The latest discovery, we can enable Send Direct Email in the system settings.
