Hello everyone,

After setting up Virtual Entity for FinOps in CDS, I found one of my custom entity is wrong so I made a changes (adding some field). After succeeded Build and Synch, Refresh Entity from Data Management and confirmed the entity is now correct, how to refresh the entity in CDS ?

Because it seems is not getting the latest updates. But isn't what we see in CDS is supposedly reflected of what we have in FinOps, can I say that ?

Thanks

    Hi Sohail,

Yes, to refresh from F&O is done as per my first thread. Refresh it in CDS (as a virtual entity) is works now, by using the "Advance find" as being guided.

    Thanks

    Hi

If you want to refresh the entity in D365FO, follow these steps.

1- Refresh the Data entity from

    Generate the mapping again

If you want to refresh the CDS entity in Azure

Then you can refresh the entity as mentioned by one of our community members or can re-create or modify the field manually.

    Hi,

In make.powerapps.com, Please go to Advance Setting then look on the top right, click Advance Find ->

Look for Available Finance and Operation Entities then search your entity. Click it then you will find this window ->

Tick the Refresh and Save (or Save and close).

    Hi both,

Thanks for your response. I did restart AOS and IIS though, but none working.

Is it really I need to re-create ?

    Thanks.

    Hi

This is a known issue in the CDS platform.

You need to re-create the entity or you can add more fields, and if you want to export the legacy data against the new fields then you need to re-export from scratch.

    Hi ShaqAX,

Do restart your AOS process work?
