We have an urgent need in implementing master planning in a retail industry.
There is a vendor that sends items on Tuesdays and its lead time is two days. So, the order date is on Sundays and delivery date in on Tuesdays on a weekly basis.
A calendar is defined and assigned to a Vendor. In this calendar, Sundays and Tuesdays should be an Open day. In some situations, and order is placed on Tuesday and the delivery date is on Sunday that is not what we expected.
If we set only the Tuesdays as an open day, the orders also placed on Tuesdays!
