Hi experts,
If there is any quick way to update the required parameters (smtp settings, user activation, key vaults etc.) after the DB refresh from one environment to another environment,
The customer complaint it took too much time to update those settings manually.
Thanks,
Hi Yuji,
Yes, It is possible to use DMF and Excel add-in.
Hi Yuji, If you are refreshing database in non-recurring basis then SQL scripts would be good. You can use DMF as well but it won't be faster than SQL scripts. However, if you are refreshing in a recurring basis via Azure Pipelines then you can add steps in Pipeline itself
Thanks Alireza,
Is it possible to update those settings through DMF rather than SQL scripts?
Hi Yuji,
I have already written two post regarding to do list for database refresh.
You can create sql scripts for some of these tasks to run it in UAT environment both for purge and create UAT specific configuration that has been overwritten by DBR
