Issue with creating Sales Orders via C# / SOAP

We have created a C# application that uses the BC SaaS SOAP salesDocuments web service that was enabled by default.  Sales Orders are being created without issue within BC.  However when checking the Created At and Created By fields in the Sales Header & Sales Lines tables, we discovered that they are blank.  It has been suggested to me that we are not supplying a data element necessary to trigger these fields to be populated.  We are having similar issues with the Modified At and Modified By fields in both the Sales Header & Sales Line tables when updating existing Sales Orders using API calls against custom code units.  Would anyone have advice as to what we might be missing in order to get these triggers to fire and have the timestamps populated into the Created & Modified fields?

    Hello,

I have problem finding fields "Created At" and "Created By" in Sales Header table, maybe they are system-fields, or part of an extension?

In any case, I think that salesDocuments is based on page 6402, so depending on the version you use (<= BC 14, or >= BC15), you can edit the page, or create a page extension to add this on the OnInsertRecord trigger. Or if these are custom fields, also check if this kind of logic should be added to the table. So, a bit of dev may be needed but I hope this helps you?
