What kind of field you are adding? You may have added the field whose property may not be valid.can you name the field?

    Hi DMaria

I am currently encountering the same issue. Have you found a solution?

    More details about my situation:

    1. I have a new report with a new query

    2. The report accepts other other queries, but not the above mentioned one - I get the same error as you specified in the OP

    Things I have tried

    1. Rebuilding & synchronizing query and it's datasources

    2. Drag the query in

    3. Specify the query through the wizard

I couldnt find solution. After many synchronizations.. aos restart etc. the rest of the reports started to work.

I think there is a bug in that query. How I resolve the issue? The field I wanted to get from the query I picked in the XML document.. added it to design and it works for me ! :)

    Thanks

For interest sake: "...the rest of the reports started to work." What do you mean by that? Did you get the error for existing queries? I get the error when trying to specify the query in the report designer.

I am not getting the error anymore - I don't know what did the trick. It just simply started working.
