Duplication In Fixed Asset Number

While I create new Asset code I select Fixed Asset group and automatic the number generated but the number that appearing for me already used before as per the below screen shots:

Below is the last FA number:

    Hi, This Can happen if somebody deletes the fixed asset while or shortly after creating the fixed asset. Please check the status form of the fixed asset number series and if you find a hanging number delete it from there. Best regards, Ludwig

    If you have the continuous option enabled on the FA number sequence, consider disable it. This would prevent getting the same numbers. Some forms in AX don't support continuous number sequences as master data usually does not require continuous numbers.
