Are they starting a D365FO project? In this case they need to purchase a D365FO subscription. They can purchase the licenses from their Microsoft licensing vendor.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../before-you-buy

If they are an existing AX customer, they can also activate a Customer trial and deploy demo systems via Lifefycle Services.

    Dear Nikolaos,

They are existing AX customer and have already bought D365FO subscription.

Currently, they are using production instance and now they want to activate sandbox instance as well.

We want to know how to activate sandbox instance.

    Thank for your immediate response.

    Regards,

    Sweety

If they have a production system running then they must have a sandbox, too. You can't even deploy a prod system without deploying a sandbox before that.

They should have 2 sandboxes that came with the subscription:

    - Tier 1 sandbox

    - Tier 2 sandbox (UAT)

If they want a new sandbox they need to decide which tier they need (Tier 1 - Tier 5) and purchase a license from their licensing vendor.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../environment-planning

These add-ons come with a fixed monthly price which depends on the tier.

They can also deploy Cloud hosted environments (onebox dev/demo system) in their own Azure subscription. In this case they pay the price of the Azure VM, no other costs. The size of the VM impacts the price significantly. And also if you run it 24/7 or not.

    Dear Nikolaos,

    Thank You for your response.
    I have some questions.
Where can I find that sandbox which already deployed?
How to find D365FO in Azure Blob Storage?

    Best Regards,
    Sweety

You can find the sandbox in your Lifecycle Services project. Talk to the D365 team of your company.

What do you actually want when you ask about Blob storage? D365FO uses blob storage for attached files but you can't access the storage itself, only the files via D365FO user interface.
