I have a new installation of SL 2011 on Windows 2012. There is a DB server, SL program server and a Remote Desktop Services server. All servers are Win 2012. We are coming from SL7. The thought was to have existing users use the RDP server when training on the new system.
I am trying to get the SL 2011 client published as a remote app and accessed through Rdweb.
I am finding that the SL 2011 client will only launch as published remote app when I login using the ID of the user that installed the SL 2011 client (before being published ). I have tried several installs under different user ID's and the remote app works only for the installed ID.
However, if I RDP directly to the desktop of the RDP server and launch the SL client manually SL it runs ok **regardless** of the ID that I launch with.
Has anyone seen this problem and has overcome it?
