How do I post AR and IN batches to the current period when a suspended Sales Journal is released in the current period with a prior period posting date?

Chuck,
Once the Sales Journal is run, the period to post for the IN and AR batches is determined - if it doesn't complete successfully, those batches are created, but, with a Status = Void. At this point, there is no way to change the period to post. To correct the situation, you'll need to rerun that particular Sales Journal ID, but, the batches will have the original assigned period to post. You would need to make a manual journal entry to back the numbers out of the undesired period and into the desired period.
