Remove footer space reservation on form when there's no field in footer

On one of my custom entity forms I removed all fields from footer but the line on top of the footer and the empty space of the footer is still visible on the form.

What can I do to remove the footer completly from beeing displayed?

Hi,

there is no option to "hide" a footer in CRM - you can try removing all the fields, but, if it's still displaying some elements of the footer, then that's just how it is.

The only other option might be to use unsupported customizations (some sort of javascript that will hide specific HTML elements), but that's not a recommended approach. Besides, there are lots of other tiny things you can't customize in the supported way in the user-interface, so it may be better not to set a precedent for the users and just stick to "it can't be done" approach.

The strange thing is that on other entities where the footer on the form is empty, the blanc area and the footer line isn't displayed.

It seems like if you once had the footer displayed (you had fields on it and remove them again) you cannot set it back to not beeing displayed anymore.

Looks like a Microsoft bug.

Hi Moko33,

I had the same issue with the BPF on the form contains extra space in footer. Have you wrote any JS to resolve this problem.
