Hi All,

I have a question regarding this batch job Schedule batch job for purchase order generation. When I set this batch job, all Purchase Requisition that have been approved will be converted to Purchase Order automatically.

The question is, after i set the batch job according to our recurrences. I notice, all converted Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order are created by my name. While I am not the person who create the Purchase Requisition, where I'm only initiate the batch job.

Why this is happening?

Please advise.

TQ.

What exact field are you referring to when you say that it's created by your name?

    Hello,

As Nikolas mentioned, it depends on what field you are referencing. If you are looking at "created by" field, that will show the user that the batch job is run under. However, if you open the purchase order and look at the header view, the "Requester" field will show the employee that created the purchase requisition. If you want to prevent your user from showing up under the "Created by" field for purchase orders created via workflow, I recommend navigating to Batch jobs and changing the "Run by" field on the batch job to another user. It is common to create an "Admin" user for this purpose.
