I am using CRM 2011. When I click on the Advanced Find icon in any entity, it takes more than 30 seconds for the Advanced Find screen to render (spinning hourglass). Does anyone know what's going on behind the scenes there? Or have any suggestions to make that screen load faster?

Thanks for the reply Scott. We do have several entities in advanced find. I will check for ribbon customizations though. This is the only place we notice a severe slow down in our system. And it happens in our dev environment also where there is practically no activity going on.

This is certainly not normal behaviour - I would probably look at the number of entities that you have enabled for advanced find - it could be that it's taking a long time to retreive the metadata from your database. Is this the only place that is slow - if so then there could be some Ribbon Customisations that are running code that takes a long time to return on Display Rules?
