Quantity Decimal / Currency Decimal Import

I have not been successful using IM to import an item if I try to import either the Quantity Decimal or Currency Decimal. I'll put a value in for the import, but I'm always told that I am missing a required field. If I change the mapping to default, I'm fine. If I assign a constant value, I am fine. It's only when I use the source does it reject my data. I've tried it as a string and as a long integer, but neither one work. When importing Item Type and Valuation Method, which are other drop down fields, I do not have any problems.

Any ideas?

If you are specifying a Class Id for the items, then the class provides a default. Once this value is set, changing the value is difficult (see your other post). Try importing without a class id, setting the values, then do an update import with the class IDs to set them.
