Server Rollup12 not working with SQL Server 2008 R2

I recently did two installations one with SQL Server 2008 and one with SQL Server 2008 R2 both on Windows 2008 R2 Server Environments

when i install crm rollup 12 on the env with SQL Server 2008 R2 crm breaks and the following message appears in trace file. However i can still open the deployment manager and see organizations and everything. this scenario not happen with the simpl SQL Server 2008 after rollup12 installation
