Reservation worksheet - issue: overules item setup reserve "never"- filters do not work

Posted on by 22
Hi Community,

when testing the reservation worksheet I luckily came across the issue that it would also take items into account which do have a default setup on the item on Reserve: Never. And I tested if via the worksheet I can reserve stock on items with this setup- and the negative result was, that it actually did overwrite the item setup and I could reserve.

So I was playing around with the filters to only get demand for items with setup "Reserve: Always"...and I tried even more filters. None of the filters I set seem to work, the list of items I get after I "get demand" is always the same.

Anybody facing similar issues? Or does have used this function sucesfully and can share some experience?

Thank you
Best
Mika

the previous response should resolve the issue. If leaving the filter undefined on the batch, the worksheet would override the setting on item card to give user the whole picture of all demands and available qty. This makes sense. But user needs to filter to reduce the noise.

    Hello Michaela,

try to add filters on the batch name. When you start the Get Demand... action, you will get the request page. Click on the Show batch filters on the Settings tab.
If you don't see Item Filter on the Batch Filter tab, then you will need to add the filter to the Reservation Wksh. Batch Card.

Close request page -> Click on the Batch Name on the Reservation Worksheet page -> Edit -> Click on the Item Filter tab and add filters to the for Optional|Always (depending on the need)

I start the Get Demand action and get 2 of the 3 items from the Sales Order because one of them is set to Reserve = Never.

It should be working this way.

    Greetings
