Void a posted invoice by code (C#)

Dear Gloria,
Sorry for bother you, but I think you can help me here.
I’m trying to cancel (void) an invoice after it was posted.

I found in the internet an eConnect function called “taRMVoidTransaction” but it can only void documents of type:
Credit memo, Returns, or Cash receipt.

Is there a way to void a posted invoice, by code, using either GP web services or eConnect components?

                I really appreciate your help.
                Looking to hear from you..

                Best regards,
                Adeeb

Who the heck is Gloria? If you want a wider audience to take a shot at your question, please address it openly, not a specific individual, otherwise, make sure you mail Gloria personally.

On the other hand, voiding an invoice tends to be a little bit of a tricky proposition, hence the reason there is no eConnect method implemented to do so -- web services relies on eConnect. To void an invoice, assuming it has not moved to history, you will need to unapply any documents applied to it first -- this is what the taRMUnapplyTransaction would do for you, then void the invoice document. Since there's no method in place for this, you can a) create your own or b) open a support case and have MS Professional Services take a shot at it for you.
