MR compatible with SQL Server 2017?

Hello Friends,

Need a urgent help on this issue.  Is Management Reporter is compatible with SQL Server 2017? We plan to deploy GP2018.

System requirement for GP2018 does not mention anywhere about MR not compatible with SQL Server 2017 - https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/northamerica/GP/learning/documentation/system-requirements/MDGP2018_System_Requirements

but there are few post says it is not compatible

1. https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/dynamicsgp/archive/2017/12/26/management-reporter-2012-compatibility-with-microsoft-sql-server-2017

2.  https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/axsupport/2017/12/27/management-reporter-2012-compatibility-with-microsoft-sql-server-2017/

Your earliest reply is highly appreciable.

Thanks much
Sandip

RE: MR compatible with SQL Server 2017?

Hello, the compatibility is solved with the version cu16, there is a patch to be compatible with SQL2017 and GP2018. I take advantage to commit that I have a problem with the previous scenario, MR worked without problems until I updated Windows and SQL, now every time I open Report Designer and I want to open a report it closes with an error message, someone can help me.
