    Hi Kammy - this is dependent on the processor and hardware used as well as the version of RMS being used. The main EDC settings for credit card processing are in the RMS Admin module. Since this deals with financial information, assistance from your Microsoft Dynamics RMS Partner is strongly advised. If you do not have a Microsoft Dynamics RMS Partner, our toll free support number is 888-267-7483.

    Ok thx!   Sorry.  Didn’t mean to push No - didn’t help. Thx!  I’m here now getting Application. Will that version be ok to switch to Heartland?

    You would need a 3rd party integration like Card Defender (which is something that Heartland sells for Microsoft Dynamics RMS). That version of RMS is fine to use with Heartland and Card Defender.

    They want Heartland as they are currently processing now without Defender -  No pin pads yet. Will upgrade later. We will install new mag tech devices tomorrow.   Thx for your help Kevin!

    Appreciate the update! If help is needed in making the EDC changes in RMS Admin, our tech support number is 888-267-7483. I strongly recommend scheduling this ahead of time in order to correctly test any EDC changes made in RMS.

    What does EDS stand for?  Also do we

    Need to have them do it?  Seems like the tech guy at the business knows how.  Do they have automatic support to call if needed? Thx so much!
