Since the Unified Interface was upgraded, Outlook messages with "set regarding" appear in CRM as "active" and unsent. Before the case can be resolved the messages need to be sent. How to I disable that? Or how do I handle this issue?

After we track the outgoing and incoming emails in Outlook, the status of the corresponding email in D365 is Completed.
So please check if there is any workflow or plugin that change the status from Completed to Active.
We have no workflow plugin, unless the Unified Interface update added one. How would I check that?
As the admin, I ran a Power App update and the issue is resolved now; although the previously messages are still appearing as active and I am now working on how to close them.
When you say you "ran a Power App update" do you mean you updated the Dataverse instances for your environments? Or are you referring to updating the app specifically in Power Platform Admin>Environment>Resources>D365 Apps?
