Remove Dynamics ID from Email Subjects

Hi

We have Dynamics linked into Outlook using the Outlook Connector 2013. We are having an issue in that when sending an email to a contact to save in Dynamics, a unique ID # is auto added onto the subject line for every email being sent eg 'your subject line text CRM:00005002'

I realise this is prob the way Dynamics knows what contact to append this email to, but its not ideal as the contact sees this in the message subject line and is very impersonal as shows that they are just a number in a CRM database.

My question is, is there a way to delete or hide this form the subject line so the contact doesn't see it?

Can you tell me where I would find this menu option?  Which application and where?  Thanks!

    Hi all,

I unchecked the "Use Tracking Token" from the e-mail configuration but the token is still appending to the subject of the e-mail. Can abyone hel me to remove it?

Here you can see a screenshot of the configuration.

    Thank you!

You have to go to Settings-> Administration- > System Settings

where you will find this option.

Hi Kieran, where did you find this option? When I access Settings >> Email configuration I saw only two options: Email Server Profiles and Mailbox, and none seem to have any option to disable the tracking code....

I turned off the tracking and it seems to still append the email to the correct contact, so great thanks Guido!

I did notice that in the email file in Dynamics (under Activities) it adds in a red error message just before the actual email message

The error doesn't show in the email that was sent. So not sure if this is a Dynamics or web browser issue?

ignore that. I found it in the system settings in Dynamics.

Thanks Guido. If this is off will it still append the email into the contact?

I take it this setting is in the CRM options of outlook? Mine is different and cant see a tracking token field to turn off

Im using Outlook 2013 and the 2013 Outlook Connector
