Keep Bank Reconciliation with Auto-Match turned off

I don't like Auto-Match in the G/L Setup for Bank Reconciliations, so I leave it turned off. But Microsoft will take that option from me in the October 2023 Release.

There is a Notification at the top of the Bank Rec Worksheet which says I can go to Feature Management and keep Bank Rec Worksheets (Auto-Match turned off) if I /enable the feature: Standardized bank reconciliation and deposits/

Here is the text of the Notification:

/This page (Bank Rec Worksheet) will be removed in upcoming releases. To continue using this functionality enable the feature: Standardized bank reconciliation and deposits/. When I enable this feature in Feature Management, it does the opposite of what I want. It forces me to import bank statements and Auto-Match. I don't want that, so I have to disable this feature. Seems like Microsoft's instructions here do the opposite of what is being said. How can I retain the use of Bank Rec Worksheets and continue to NOT use Auto-Match?
